RUPERT STREET
In partnership with Student Roost, we intend to bring this underutilised NCP car park to life, through the creation of sustainable co-living and student homes in the centre of the city.
Our proposals aim to transform an underutilised car park into:
249 co-living homes, with an extensive range of bespoke shared amenities
328 purpose built student rooms
154 sqm commecrial space (for exclusive use by local community/ charitable groups)
400 space replacement car park
Our carefully designed plans for Rupert Street aim to respect the city's architecture, whilst also utilising this sustainable location, ideal for young professionals, key workers and students. The vision is to create a mixed and balanced community, including commercial uses that have been shaped by local stakeholders. Following feedback from local residents during the application process, we have committed to ensuring the ground floor commercial units will be used as a not for profit café that trains and employs unemployed local residents. We have formed relationships with the likes of VOSCUR and the Creative Youth Network to understand if the ground floor spaces could be utilised by them, to ensure the local community are actively involved in the proposed development.
